About your host, Bible Tours

Inspirational, faith-building & useful international Bible tours by Jehovah's Witnesses. Our experienced local JW tour guides will help you see the connections between these ancient artefacts and your worship of Jehovah today. With vivid descriptions and well-researched explanations, they use the Bible to bring these timeworn stones to life so that you can recall their valuable lessons for years to come. Note that there is a reassuring level of security around the museum in response to the severe level of terror alert in all of Britain.

What we'll do

This NEW tour features the grammatical relevance and meaning of God's actual Name as revealed in Scripture and featured in the museum. This tour shows deeply the amazing real meaning of God's Name both grammatically and Scripturally, and how it differs from the commonly used titles for God. Also learn how and why He acts in style! It is presented regularly on Saturdays at 11.35am (by advance booking only). However, like all our tours, we can organise it for any date and time on request. Simply email us directly to organise this tour for a different day to suit you. Read the unsolicited testimonials!. There is also a 55-minute free version presented on some congregation-coach weekends.

Who can come

Guests ages 2 and up can attend.

Notes

Smart attire: Come as smart as you reasonably can. Bible, Notepad and pen. Bags: Please do not bring any large bags into the museum, security will not allow any bag with wheels.

Where we'll be

The meeting point for all our tours is in the South East corner of the British Museum's Great Court, at the statue of a 'boy on a horse', near the Information Desk. Our guide(s) wear a blue lanyard with a Bible Tours badge. We are now advising all our visitors to avoid standing in the long queue outside the front of the Museum. Instead, walk around to the back of the museum (Montagu Place, WC1E 7JW) as there is generally a smaller queue.
