About your host, Paul

My name is Paul. I am a brother from Braintree in England. I have a love of history and the British Museum. Having researched some of the Museum's Exhibits I have found it has strengthened my faith when I see how it backs up and supports the Bible. I have taken a few tours around the museum and look forward to widening this out to the Friends who are with us on Zoom.

What we'll do

On this tour we will take a virtual wander through the British Museum and get to meet some of the kings of Assyria. We will learn about their dealings with God’s people and as a result strengthen our faith in the Bible record. The Archaeological discoveries contained within the museum will add another dimension to the scriptures and paint a picture of what the times were like during the Assyrians' time in power.

Who can come

Guests ages 2 and up can attend.

Before attending it would be beneficial to view the “O Jehovah, … I Trust in You” film located on the website.

Where we'll be

We will start in the Grand Court of the British Museum. Then we will visit the Assyrian Exhibits housed on the ground floor. These will be linked into the Bible and as a result enhance our understanding of the scriptures and the times in which they were written.
